25th Street, in Oakland’s KONO/Uptown Arts Triangle, has been a growing epicenter of grassroots culture, connection and entrepreneurship—the very things that have marked Oakland as the “most exciting city in America”. Home to establishments including Vessel Gallery, Mercury 20, 25th Street Collective and Zero Friends, 25th Street is a fertile breeding ground for the revolutionary spirit that makes Oakland unique. The Block Party, will feature open galleries/businesses throughout the block, a full day of music held at the 25th Street Collective warehouse and a delicious food & ice cream from Tina Tamale & Tara’s Organic Ice Cream.
